Some Frequently asked questions

Does the fee cover both of us?

Yes, the fee covers the full course for mother and father (or birthing partner)

What else does the fee cover?
Included with the course is the HypnoBirthing book, the course CD, a folder with all the course handouts, and any telephone/email support you need.

I'm close to my due date, can I do a shorter/weekend course?
The course is designed to be taken over 4/5 weekly session lasting between 2.5/3 hours & this really is the optimum way to do HB. However, in special circumstances we can compress the course into a shorter timeframe - the course would still be 12 hours long regardless.

What is the best time to do the course?
The answer is that, in principle, it's more important to do the course early so you have plenty of time to absorb the information and for it to become second nature rather than to have it fresh in your mind. The HypnoBirthing Institute suggests that you do it in the second trimester of pregnancy but, in practice, people can start anytime after around 20 weeks. That said, many mothers only find out about HypnoBirthing post 30 weeks & go on to have wonderful births - it really is never too late!

Should I bring or wear anything in particular?
There is nothing in particular that you need to bring or wear to your class - just wear comfortable clothes so you can relax. You may wish to bring some snacks with you & if you are coming to an evening class before eating please ensure you bring something to eat with you.

I've never done any kind of hypnosis before, will I be able to do it?
Absolutley, anyone can be hypnotised, infact all hypnosis is actually self hypnosis! Why not ask me for a frree, no-obligation phone/webinar consultation to find out more.
